About me

Science, spirit and story, in the same room.

Agnès Déglon-Fischer

Agnès Déglon-Fischer is a Swiss-American writer whose work explores the meeting place between science, spirituality, and story. Trained in biochemistry and Traditional Chinese Medicine, she brings both intellectual curiosity and embodied experience to themes of transformation, midlife, and human connection.

Her writing blends humor, honesty, and emotional depth to illuminate the beauty hidden inside everyday chaos. She is the author of Once You Know: A Guide to Preserve Your Child's Health and the Kids' Questions About Life trilogy on body, mind, and soul, published in English, French, and German.

Her upcoming Within Series — The Chaos Within, The Canyon Within, and The Creation Within — uses fiction as a mirror for inner transformation, weaving wilderness, Taoist philosophy, relationships, and modern life into emotionally resonant stories of becoming.

A translator and non-native English speaker, Déglon-Fischer initially resisted both digital translation tools and AI-assisted writing before eventually embracing them as creative companions rather than threats. That movement from resistance to collaboration echoes many of the themes explored in her fiction.
