I entered acupuncture school with a degree in biochemistry, trained to think in molecules and lab reports. Then, I found myself studying Qi, Yin and Yang, and meridians: medicine in another language. Traditional Chinese Medicine expanded my scientific training and taught me to see the whole person, body, mind, and soul, catching imbalances on an energetic and emotional level, before they manifest on a physical level.
