Agnès Déglon-Fischer
A writer with a background in biochemistry and acupuncture.

I'm Agnès Déglon-Fischer, a writer with a background in biochemistry and acupuncture. My work bridges the worlds of science and storytelling, blending evidence-based health with holistic perspectives and lived experience. Whether unpacking the latest research, reflecting on body–mind–soul connections, or writing from the trail, I aim to make complex ideas accessible and meaningful.
And when I'm not writing about the serious stuff? I'm a mama, soul-searcher, and semi-functional adult. For the past 13 years (unpaid, of course), I've been turning tiny humans into decent-ish people while navigating hot flashes, emotional flash floods, and the occasional identity crisis. This is the space where I make sense of the mess, through stories, soul, sarcasm, and the sacred art of laughing when everything burns.
The Within Trilogy
The Canyon Within is drawn from my own midlife journey and a rim-river-rim hike through the Grand Canyon. I live in Southern California with my husband and two sons.
